Frequently Asked Questions

I’ve been to a chiropractor before. How are you any different?

While many chiropractors focus solely on spinal adjustments, we take a more comprehensive approach. At New Edge Spine & Sport, we offer muscle treatment, extremity care, rehabilitation, nutritional counseling, and exercise coaching. If you're seeking a quick 30-second adjustment, we may not be the right fit—but if you're looking for lasting results and functional improvements, we’re here to help.

Does insurance cover the treatment?

New Edge Spine & Sport is not contracted with third-party insurance providers. We believe your care should be between you and your doctor—not dictated by insurance companies. However, we’re happy to provide itemized receipts (superbills) that you can submit for possible reimbursement.

Do I need to come back forever?

Absolutely not. Our goal is to help you recover and stay pain-free. While many patients choose to continue maintenance care because they feel and function better, the decision is entirely up to you—we don’t push long-term treatment plans unless it serves your goals.

Do I need a referral?

No referral is needed. You can book an appointment with us directly—no need to go through a primary care physician first.

Do you only work on spines?

Not at all. We treat musculoskeletal injuries throughout the body, including the neck, shoulders, hips, knees, feet, and more. Dr. Hosler’s additional training as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner allows him to provide expert care for a wide range of injuries beyond the spine.

My doctor said not to go to a chiropractor. Why?

Many medical doctors may not fully understand what modern chiropractic care entails. At New Edge Spine & Sport, we’re happy to co-manage your care and communicate with your physician. Our goal is always collaboration and transparency to help you achieve the best possible outcomes.
